Chatmoss is a census-designated place (CDP) in Henry County, Virginia, United States. The population was 1,698 at the 2010 census, down slightly from the 1,742 reported in 2000. It is ration of the Martinsville Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Chatmoss takes its declare from a 2,700-acre (11 km) Hairston relations plantation on the site, which was vanguard incorporated into a larger country club building upon the site.
