South Congaree is a town in Lexington County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 2,306 at the 2010 census. It is allocation of the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area.
South Congaree is located at 33°54′31″N 81°8′7″W / 33.90861°N 81.13528°W (33.908621, -81.135178).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total Place of 3.2 square miles (8.4 km), of which 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2) is estate and 0.04 square mile (0.1 km) (0.92%) is water.
