Lower Salem is a village in Washington County, Ohio, United States. The population was 86 at the 2010 census. The village is house to a number of local businesses as skillfully as a bank attached to the state office and a volunteer flare department next to the Salem Township Cemetery. Salem-Liberty Elementary School sits north of State Route 821 opposite the East Fork of Duck Creek west of the town’s corporation limit and serves as the elementary studious for greater than 100 students of the Fort Frye Local School District. The municipal building, adjacent to the Bob Hausser Community Park, served as an outpost of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office during the to the fore 2000s.
