Phoenix is a village in Oswego County, New York, United States. The population was 2,382 at the 2010 census. The say is derived from Alexander Phoenix. The village of Phoenix lies in the Lake Ontario lake-effect snow belt, with seasonal snow totals regularly greater than 200 in (510 cm). Phoenix lies in the southwest part of the town of Schroeppel.
The village was incorporated in 1848.
