Ashley is a village in Gratiot County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 563 at the 2010 census. The village is located in the northwest corner of Elba Township. No major permit trunkline runs through the village, although M-57 passes within one mile to the south. Ashley was platted in 1884.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.64 square miles (1.66 km), all land.

As of the census of 2010, there were 563 people, 195 households, and 133 families active in the village. The population density was 879.7 inhabitants per square mile (339.7/km²). There were 221 housing units at an average density of 345.3 per square mile (133.3/km). The racial makeup of the village was 97.9% White, 1.1% African American, 0.2% Asian, 0.7% from supplementary races, and 0.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.2% of the population.

There were 195 households, of which 33.8% had kids under the age of 18 living taking into account them, 49.2% were married couples perky together, 13.3% had a female householder taking into consideration no husband present, 5.6% had a male householder afterward no wife present, and 31.8% were non-families. 27.7% of whatever households were made happening of individuals, and 11.2% had someone bustling alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 2.98.
