Veedersburg is a town in Van Buren Township, Fountain County, Indiana, United States. The population was 2,180 at the 2010 census.

Veedersburg is a newer pronounce for the antiquated town of Chambersburg, which was first contracted by to the fore inhabitants Jonathan Birch and John Colvert, on the north fork of Coal Creek in the spring of 1823. It was first located in Cain Township, but became ration of the newer township of Van Buren in 1841. Veedersburg was founded in 1871. It was named for one of its founders, Peter S. Veeder. Veedersburg was incorporated as a town in 1872.

As of the census of 2010, there were 2,180 people, 878 households, and 605 families active in the town. The population density was 801.5 inhabitants per square mile (309.5/km²). There were 967 housing units at an average density of 355.5 per square mile (137.3/km). The racial makeup of the town was 94.8% White, 0.1% African American, 0.5% Native American, 0.1% Asian, 3.6% from additional races, and 1.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.2% of the population.

There were 878 households, of which 33.0% had kids under the age of 18 living when them, 49.1% were married couples bustling together, 13.1% had a female householder similar to no husband present, 6.7% had a male householder behind no wife present, and 31.1% were non-families. 27.1% of all households were made in the works of individuals, and 11.5% had someone active alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average associates size was 2.94.
