Watertown is located at 30°11’11” North, 82°36’30” West (30.186499, -82.608312).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 2.5 square miles (6.5 km), of which 2.4 square miles (6.2 km2) is estate and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,837 people, 1,164 households, and 744 families residing in the CDP.
