Pine Lakes is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lake County, Florida, United States. The population was 862 at the 2010 census, up from 755 at the 2000 census. It is ration of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Pine Lakes is located in northeastern Lake County at 28°56′23″N 81°25′45″W / 28.93972°N 81.42917°W (28.939660, -81.429254). The CDP includes the communities of Pine Lakes, South Pine Lakes, and Florida Hills.
Florida State Road 44 passes through Pine Lakes, leading northeast 10 miles (16 km) to DeLand and southwest 17 miles (27 km) to Mount Dora.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 1.7 square miles (4.4 km), of which 1.6 square miles (4.1 km2) are house and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km), or 6.48%, are water. There are at least eight named lakes in the CDP, the largest brute Pine Lake and Crystal Lake.
