Forest City is a census-designated place and an Place in Seminole County, Florida, United States. Its historic center is now in the City of Altamonte Springs. Data in this article deals only past the unincorporated section. The population was 12,612 at the 2000 census. It is portion of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area.
