Grand Bay is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Mobile County, Alabama, United States. It is ration of the Mobile metropolitan area. The population was 3,460 at the 2020 census.
According to local accounts, George Cassibry was the first white person to reach agreement in Grand Bay. He came to the Place in 1853, establishing a house site close the headwaters of Franklin Creek located today close the intersection of Highway 90 and Ramsey Road.
