Lubeck is a census-designated place (CDP) in Wood County, West Virginia, United States. It is ration of the Parkersburg-Marietta-Vienna, WV-OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,311 at the 2010 census. Though first named Watertown, postmaster Theodore Frederick Henry Slevogt in 1856 changed the state to Lubeck after his hometown in Germany.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.3 square miles (11.0 km), all land.
At the 2000 census, there were 1,303 people, 510 households and 403 families blooming in the CDP. The population density was 305.0 per square mile (117.8/km2). There were 540 housing units at an average density of 126.4/sq mi (48.8/km). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.70% White, 0.46% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.08% from extra races, and 0.61% from two or more races.
