Arlington Heights is located at 48°12′31″N 122°3′11″W / 48.20861°N 122.05306°W (48.208682, -122.052999).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 11.3 square miles (29.4 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,510 people, 838 households, and 682 families flourishing in the CDP. The population density was 221.3 people per square mile (85.5/km2). There were 859 housing units at an average density of 75.7/sq mi (29.2/km).
