Laymantown is a census-designated place (CDP) in southern Botetourt County, Virginia, United States. The population was 1,867 at the 2020 census. The community is located along State Route 658 (Laymantown Road). It is portion of the Roanoke Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Laymantown is located at 37°21′37″N 79°50′56″W / 37.360271°N 79.848828°W (37.360271, −79.848828).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.3 square miles (8.5 km), all of it land.
