Lakehills is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bandera County, Texas, United States. The population was 5,150 at the 2010 census, making it the most populous place in Bandera county. It is allocation of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Lakehills was originally known as Upper Medina Lake, until a make known office substation was expected in the Place in the into the future 1960s. Two toll roads served the Place until the late 1940s–early 1950s.
Lakehills is located 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Bandera and 30 miles (48 km) west of Downtown San Antonio. The town is upon Medina Lake.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 34.4 square miles (89 km), of which, 30.3 square miles (78 km2) of it is land and 4.1 square miles (11 km) of it (11.87%) is water.
