Elbert is a census-designated place (CDP) in Throckmorton County, Texas, United States. The population was 30 at the 2010 census.
Elbert is located at 33°16′29″N 99°0′8″W / 33.27472°N 99.00222°W (33.274758, -99.002109). According to the United States Census Bureau in 2000, the CDP has a total area of 11.7 square miles (30.4 km), all of it land. Prior to the 2010 census, the CDP lost Place reducing it to a total Place of 6.0 square miles (16 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 30 people, a decline of 46.43% since 2000 (26 people). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.67% White (29 people) and 3.33% Native American (1 person). The CDP did not have any people from Hispanic or Latino of any race.
