Circle D-KC Estates is located at 30°9′34″N 97°14′10″W / 30.15944°N 97.23611°W (30.159522, -97.236083), about seven miles northeast of Bastrop.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 9.4 square miles (24 km), of which 9.3 square miles (24 km2) is home and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km) is water. The subdivision was heavily damaged in the 2011 Bastrop County Complex fire.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 2,588 people, 1,003 households, and 684 families residing in the CDP.
