Bevil Oaks is a city in Jefferson County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,274 at the 2010 census. It is portion of the Beaumont–Port Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Bevil Oaks is located along the northern edge of Jefferson County at 30°9′6″N 94°16′6″W / 30.15167°N 94.26833°W (30.151695, –94.268336). It is bordered to the north and west by Pine Island Bayou, which forms the Hardin County line. Texas State Highway 105 forms the southern boundary of the city; SH 105 leads west 8 miles (13 km) to Sour Lake and east 6 miles (10 km) to U.S. Route 96. Beaumont is 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Bevil Oaks via SH 105 and US 96.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city of Bevil Oaks has a total Place of 2.0 square miles (5.3 km), of which 0.03 square miles (0.08 km2), or 1.51%, are water.
Bevil Oaks was formed from the sub-divisions of Bevil Acres and River Oaks sometimes prior to the 1963 incorporation. The economy is largely dependent on that of the Golden Triangle.
