Mooresburg is a census-designated place (CDP) and a unincorporated town in Hawkins County, Tennessee, United States. Its population was 941 as of the 2010 census. It is located along U.S. Route 11W with Rogersville and Bean Station.
Mooresburg was named for Major Hugh Moore, whose family contracted in the Place around 1800. Hugh had purchased more than several thousands and laid out the mood for the town of Mooresburg.
