East Cleveland is a census-designated place (CDP) and community in Bradley County, Tennessee, United States. It is located directly east of the city limits of Cleveland, and is then considered one of the major divisions of the city. The population was 1,725 at the 2020 census. It is included in the Cleveland Metropolitan Statistical Area.
East Cleveland is located at 35°9′14″N 84°51′25″W / 35.15389°N 84.85694°W (35.154009, -84.856866).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km), all land.
U.S. Route 64 and APD-40 (U.S. 64 Bypass and a allocation of State Route 60) intersect in the community. State Route 74 begins in the southern portion. The CDP is traversed by a ridge known in the south as Blue Springs Ridge.
