Coopersburg is a borough in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population of Coopersburg was 2,447 as of the 2020 census. It is a suburb of Allentown and is located 7 miles (11 km) miles southeast of Allentown, 40 miles (64 km) north of Philadelphia, and 76 miles (122 km) west of New York City.
Coopersburg is share of the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area, which had a population of 861,899 and was the 68th most populous metropolitan Place in the U.S. as of the 2020 census.
Coopersburg is located at 40°30′37″N 75°23′24″W / 40.51028°N 75.39000°W (40.510262, -75.389901). According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km2), all land. The borough is mostly with Upper Saucon Township, with two portions in the southeast touching Springfield Township in Bucks County.
As of the census of 2010, there were 2,386 people breathing in the borough. The racial makeup of the borough was 95.7% White, 0.6% African American, 0.1% Native American, 1.1% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 0.9% from new races, and 1.5% from two or more races.
