Cherry Creek is a town in Chautauqua County, New York, United States. The population was 1,036 at the 2020 census. The publish is derived from that of a little stream that flows through the town between many cherry trees.

The community was first settled circa 1815, and the town of Cherry Creek was formed in 1829 from part of the town of Ellington.
