Indian Hills is a census-designated place (CDP) in Douglas County, Nevada, United States. It lies on the south side of the Carson City metropolitan area. The population was 5,627 at the 2010 census.
Indian Hills is located at 39°5′29″N 119°46′38″W / 39.09139°N 119.77722°W (39.091288, -119.777265).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 14.6 square miles (37.8 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 4,407 people, 1,661 households, and 1,297 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 449.5 inhabitants per square mile (173.6/km2). There were 1,737 housing units at an average density of 177.2 per square mile (68.4/km). The racial makeup of the CDP was 91.31% White, 0.23% African American, 1.23% Native American, 0.86% Asian, 4.22% from supplementary races, and 2.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.48% of the population.
