Cordova is a village in Seward County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Lincoln, Nebraska Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 137 at the 2010 census.
Cordova was originally called Hunkins, in tribute of traveler settler Benjamin Hunkins, and under the latter name was platted in 1887 gone the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad was outstretched to that point. Due to the resemblance with the state of unusual post office in the state, Hunkins was soon renamed Cordova, after Cordova, Spain, in order to avoid repetition. A broadcast office called Cordova has been in operation past 1888.
