Trommald is a city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 98 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Brainerd Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Trommald was founded as a mining town upon the western subside of the Cuyuna iron range, just north of Ironton.
Trommald was named for A. G. Trommald, county registrar of undertakings from 1904 to 1930. Trommald was incorporated in 1917.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total Place of 3.93 square miles (10.18 km), of which 3.65 square miles (9.45 km2) is house and 0.28 square miles (0.73 km) is water. County Roads 30 and 34, and Iverson Road are the main routes in the community.
