Nashville is a village in Barry County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,628 at the 2010 census. The township exists largely within Castleton Township, with a little portion extending south into Maple Grove Township.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.23 square miles (5.78 km), of which 2.12 square miles (5.49 km2) is estate and 0.11 square miles (0.28 km) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 1,628 people, 620 households, and 415 families residing in the village. The population density was 767.9 inhabitants per square mile (296.5/km2). There were 708 housing units at an average density of 334.0 per square mile (129.0/km). The racial makeup of the village was 97.2% White, 0.2% African American, 0.6% Native American, 0.4% Asian, 0.4% from other races, and 1.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.1% of the population.
There were 620 households, of which 34.8% had children under the age of 18 living in the same way as them, 45.8% were married couples animated together, 14.0% had a female householder behind no husband present, 7.1% had a male householder following no wife present, and 33.1% were non-families. 27.1% of anything households were made happening of individuals, and 12.2% had someone full of beans alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average relations size was 3.15.
