Muir is a village in Lyons Township, Ionia County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 604 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total Place of 0.76 square miles (1.97 km), of which 0.71 square miles (1.84 km2) is estate and 0.05 square miles (0.13 km) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 604 people, 227 households, and 166 families booming in the village. The population density was 850.7 inhabitants per square mile (328.5/km2). There were 266 housing units at an average density of 374.6 per square mile (144.6/km). The racial makeup of the village was 94.7% White, 0.2% African American, 1.0% Native American, 1.5% Asian, 0.8% from other races, and 1.8% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.0% of the population.
There were 227 households, of which 40.5% had children under the age of 18 living taking into account them, 45.4% were married couples successful together, 18.9% had a female householder gone no husband present, 8.8% had a male householder following no wife present, and 26.9% were non-families. 22.5% of whatever households were made stirring of individuals, and 8% had someone blooming alone who was 65 years of age or older.
