Ball is a town in Rapides Parish, just north of Pineville, Louisiana, United States. Established in 1972, it is allowance of the Alexandria, Louisiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 4,000 at the 2010 census, an buildup of 8.7 percent greater than the 2000 tabulation of 3,681.
Ball had its start as a logging town past a sawmill.
The earliest photo album of settlers in Ball dates to in the company of 1840 and 1863.
