Osage is a city in Mitchell County, Iowa, United States. The population was 3,627 at the time of the 2020 census. It is the county chair of Mitchell County.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.24 square miles (5.80 km), all land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 3,619 people, 1,614 households, and 954 families busy in the city. The population density was 1,615.6 inhabitants per square mile (623.8/km2). There were 1,756 housing units at an average density of 783.9 per square mile (302.7/km).
