Farmersville is located at 39°26′32″N 89°39′3″W / 39.44222°N 89.65083°W (39.442093, -89.650766).
According to the 2010 census, Farmersville has a total area of 0.908 square miles (2.35 km), of which 0.9 square miles (2.33 km2) (or 99.12%) is home and 0.008 square miles (0.02 km) (or 0.88%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 768 people, 313 households, and 210 families residing in the village. The population density was 777.7 inhabitants per square mile (300.3/km2). There were 350 housing units at an average density of 354.4 per square mile (136.8/km).
