Cascade is a rural city in and the county chair of Valley County, Idaho, United States. The population was 939 at the 2010 census, down from 997 in 2000.

The Cascade Dam across the Payette River was completed in 1948, and is located in the north grow less of the city. The dam created Cascade Reservoir along the west side of the city. With the start of clear Tamarack Resort in 2004, the say was officially changed to Lake Cascade for marketing reasons.

Cascade was the house of a sizable Boise Cascade sawmill, which closed in May 2001.
