Upper Grand Lagoon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bay County, Florida, United States. The population was 13,963 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Panama City–Lynn Haven–Panama City Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Upper Grand Lagoon is located at 30°10′12″N 85°45′21″W / 30.17000°N 85.75583°W (30.169898, -85.755909).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 15.9 square miles (41.2 km), of which 8.1 square miles (21.0 km2) is land and 7.8 square miles (20.2 km), or 49.13%, is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 10,889 people, 4,615 households, and 3,032 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,320.2 inhabitants per square mile (509.7/km2). There were 5,733 housing units at an average density of 695.1 per square mile (268.4/km). The racial makeup of the CDP was 93.66% White, 1.41% African American, 0.82% Native American, 1.63% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.68% from additional races, and 1.70% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.45% of the population.
