Bayonet Point is located at 28°19′22″N 82°41′2″W / 28.32278°N 82.68389°W (28.322903, -82.683957).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.7 square miles (15 km), of which 5.6 square miles (15 km2) is house and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km) (1.41%) is water.
