Greenville is a bedroom community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States, and a suburb of Wilmington. The population was 2,326 at the 2010 census. For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau has defined Greenville as a census-designated place (CDP). The community is also home to the private address of Joe Biden, the current president of the United States, and many Du Pont relations descendants.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 2.74 square miles (7.1 km), of which 2.72 square miles (7.0 km²) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km) (0.73%) is water. The Census Bureau definition of the Place may not precisely correspond to the local arrangement of the community.

At the 2010 census there were 2,326 people, 1,076 households, and 654 families blooming in the CDP. The population density was 849 inhabitants per square mile (328/km). There were 1,395 housing units at an average density of 509.1 per square mile (196.6/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 85.7% White, 4.8% African American, 7.2% Asian, 0.9% from extra races, and 1.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.4%.

Of the 1,076 households 24.3% had kids under the age of 18 living once them, 53.3% were married couples booming together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 1.7% had a male householder when no wife present, and 39.2% were non-families. 34.5% of households were one person and 12.6% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.16 and the average relations size was 2.79.
