Pollard is a town in Escambia County, Alabama, United States. It was the first time-honored county chair of Escambia County, from its launch in 1868 until 1883, when it loose that distinction to Brewton. At the 2020 census, the population was 128.
Pollard is located in south-central Escambia County at 31°1′38″N 87°10′20″W / 31.02722°N 87.17222°W (31.027340, -87.172342). It is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south and east of U.S. Routes 31 and 29, 6 miles (10 km) east of Flomaton, and 9 miles (14 km) southwest of Brewton.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.9 km), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 120 people, 48 households, and 33 families residing in the town. The population density was 107.6 inhabitants per square mile (41.5/km2). There were 64 housing units at an average density of 57.4 per square mile (22.2/km). The racial makeup of the town was 51.67% White, 41.67% Black or African American, 1.67% Native American, 0.83% from new races, and 4.17% from two or more races. 1.67% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
