Elberta is a town in Baldwin County, Alabama, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 1,498, up from 552 at the 2000 census. It is portion of the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley metropolitan area.
Elberta is located in southern Baldwin County. U.S. Route 98 (State Avenue) passes through the center of the town, leading west 5 miles (8 km) to Foley and east 10 miles (16 km) to Lillian, at the Florida border.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total Place of 6.9 square miles (17.8 km), of which 6.8 square miles (17.5 km2) is house and 0.12 square miles (0.3 km), or 1.47%, is water.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,974 people, 752 households, and 413 families residing in the town.
