Walnut is a city in the eastern ration of Los Angeles County in the U.S. state of California. At the 2010 census, the city had a population of 29,172, and in 2019 the population was estimated at 29,685.
The greater Walnut Valley is located in the middle of the steep San Jose Hills mountain range to the north, and the gentle Puente Hills to the south. The city hosts a highly ranked public assistant professor system—the Walnut Valley Unified School District, which has been ranked by numerous sources as one of the top public teacher districts in Southern California as without difficulty as Mt.
