McDonald is a town in Robeson County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 113 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.78 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 119 people, 40 households, and 37 families residing in the town. The population density was 455.6 people per square mile (176.7/km2). There were 41 housing units at an average density of 157.0 per square mile (60.9/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 36.13% White, 10.92% African American, 52.10% Native American and 0.84% Pacific Islander. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.84% of the population.
There were 40 households, out of which 27.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.5% were married couples living together, 22.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 7.5% were non-families. 7.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.98 and the average family size was 3.08.
In the town, the population was spread out, with 26.9% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 26.1% from 25 to 44, 21.0% from 45 to 64, and 17.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
