Youngstown is a village in Niagara County, New York, United States. The population was 1,935 at the 2010 census. It is share of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Youngstown is on the western edge of the town of Porter and is at the international affix with Canada, at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. It is north of the city of Niagara Falls.
The village’s early accrual was under the sponsorship of Fort Niagara.
The village was destroyed by the British in 1813 during the War of 1812.[citation needed]
The Village of Youngstown was incorporated in 1854, named after John Young.
