Leshara is a village in Saunders County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 112 at the 2010 census.
Leshara was founded in 1905 like the Great Northern Railway standard a station there. In further on October, the S. C. & W. Townsite Company purchased 50 acres of estate from Joseph Lammel upon which to construct the town. By the decline of the month, commercial lots were beast sold for $600 each. The first concern construction in Leshara was a lumberyard operated by the Zaugg brothers of Yutan. Residential lots were on sale in November.
Leshara’s reveal honors an important Pawnee chief, Petalesharo, who lived in the area during the 19th century.
Leshara is located at 41°19′48″N 96°25′44″W / 41.330124°N 96.428996°W (41.330124, -96.428996). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.07 square miles (0.18 km2), all land. It is located within Leshara Township.
