Rock Island Arsenal is a census-designated place (CDP) in Rock Island County, Illinois, United States. The population was 149 at the 2010 census. The island contains the Rock Island National Cemetery.
Rock Island Arsenal is located at 41°31′5″N 90°32′13″W / 41.51806°N 90.53694°W (41.518033, -90.536959).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 2.6 square miles (6.7 km), of which 1.6 square miles (4.1 km2) is home and 1.0 square mile (2.6 km) (37.89%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 145 people, 43 households, and 40 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 90.9 inhabitants per square mile (35.1/km2).
