Kane is a village in Greene County, Illinois, United States. The population was 438 at the 2010 census.
Kane is located in southern Greene County at 39°11′26″N 90°21′9″W / 39.19056°N 90.35250°W (39.190666, -90.352570). It is 9 miles (14 km) south of Carrollton, the county seat, and 6 miles (10 km) north of Jerseyville.
