Venice Gardens is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 7,104 at the 2010 census. It is allowance of the Bradenton–Sarasota–Venice Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Venice Gardens is located at 27°4′14″N 82°24′28″W / 27.07056°N 82.40778°W (27.070534, -82.407844).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 2.7 square miles (7.0 km), of which 2.4 square miles (6.3 km2) is estate and 0.27 square miles (0.7 km), or 10.01%, is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 7,466 people, 3,528 households, and 2,342 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,987.9 inhabitants per square mile (1,153.6/km2). There were 3,836 housing units at an average density of 1,535.2 per square mile (592.7/km). The racial makeup of the CDP was 97.43% White, 0.40% African American, 0.08% Native American, 1.25% Asian, 0.15% from other races, and 0.70% from two or more races.
