Safety Harbor is a city upon the west shore of Tampa Bay in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. It was settled in 1823 and incorporated in 1917. The population was 16,884 at the 2010 census.
The area has been inhabited in the past the Stone Age. In June 2008, a 6,000-year-old spearhead was found at Marshall Street Park.
