Longwood is a city in Seminole County, Florida, United States. The population was 15,087 at the 2020 census. It is allowance of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Longwood is located at 28°42′07″N 81°20′42″W / 28.702061°N 81.345098°W.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total Place of 5.6 square miles (15 km), of which 5.3 square miles (14 km2) is estate and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km) (5.17%) is water. The city has had two of the oldest trees in America within its borders: The Senator and the steadfast Lady Liberty.
At the 2020 census, there were 15,087 people and 5,697 households in the city. The population density was 2,747.1 inhabitants per square mile (1,060.7/km2). There were 5,680 housing units at an average density of 1,014.3 per square mile (391.6/km).
