Coventry Lake is a village and census-designated place in the town of Coventry, Connecticut in Tolland County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 2,990 at the 2010 census. The CDP includes the residential areas nearly Wangumbaug Lake.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 9.1 km (3.5 mi2). 7.6 km (2.9 mi2) of it is home and 1.5 km (0.6 mi2) of it (16.76%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,914 people, 1,125 households, and 774 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 384.0/km2 (994.1/mi). There were 1,272 housing units at an average density of 167.6/km2 (433.9/mi). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.64% White, 0.58% African American, 0.27% Native American, 0.58% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.69% from other races, and 1.20% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.65% of the population.
There were 1,125 households, out of which 33.6% had kids under the age of 18 living later them, 54.4% were married couples full of life together, 8.5% had a female householder bearing in mind no husband present, and 31.2% were non-families. 22.0% of anything households were made taking place of individuals, and 5.8% had someone buzzing alone who was 65 years of age or older.
