The Fontana Place was radically transformed during World War II afterward Henry J. Kaiser built the Kaiser Steel plant, at the grow old one of lonesome two steel mills west of the Mississippi River outside the city limits. To offer for the reforest workers’ health needs, Henry J. Kaiser build up the Fontana Kaiser Permanente medical facility, now the largest managed care meting out in the United States.
