Wide Ruins is a chapter of the Navajo Nation and a census-designated place (CDP) in Apache County, Arizona, United States. The population was 176 at the 2010 census.

Wide Ruins is located at 35°25′10″N 109°29′38″W / 35.41944°N 109.49389°W / 35.41944; -109.49389 (35.41959, −109.49408).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 0.39 square miles (1.0 km), all land.

Jilłháál, or Jilhaal, whose make known is not easily translated but refers to an exploit club, was an to the lead 18th-century singer, warrior, and runner. As suggested in oral chronicles and archaeology, he arrived at the Ganado–Wide Ruins Place and traveled extensively. He lived in the course of the Rio Grande Pueblo peoples and migrated as soon as many of them to the refuge of Dinetah at the start of the Spanish attack and doings of present-day Arizona and New Mexico.
